This notice explains how the Valenius website at www.valenius.com handles the data of its visitors. The Valenius mobile app is covered by a separate document — see the app privacy policy. The self-hosted Valenius product you run in your own organisation processes its own data under your control and is not covered here.

We use Matomo, an open-source web-analytics tool, to understand in aggregate how the website is used so we can improve it. Matomo runs on our own servers (analytics.stranto.com) — the measurement data stays with Stranto and is not sent to Google or any other third-party analytics provider.
For each visit, Matomo records only what it needs for aggregate statistics: the pages you view and when, the page that referred you, links you click, and general technical details such as your browser and operating-system type, screen size, and approximate region. Your IP address is anonymised (shortened) before it is stored, and is not kept in full.
We use this data only to produce anonymous, aggregate audience statistics for this website. We do not use it to identify you personally, do not track you across other websites, and do not share or sell it.
Our analytics is configured to run without cookies: it does not store an identifier on your device. Because it is cookieless, IP-anonymised, kept on our own servers, and not shared with third parties, we operate it for aggregate audience measurement without a consent banner. Browsers that send a “Do Not Track” signal are not measured at all.
To opt out entirely, enable “Do Not Track” in your browser settings — the site then records nothing about your visit. You can also contact us at info@valenius.com with any request regarding your data.
Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site may record standard technical connection data (such as the requested address, timestamp, and a shortened IP address) for security and to keep the service running reliably. This data is kept only for as long as needed for those purposes.
This website deliberately loads nothing from external services. Fonts, scripts, styles and images are all served from our own domain — there are no third-party CDNs, no hosted fonts, and no external trackers or embeds. Visiting the site does not hand your data to any outside provider.
Under applicable data-protection law you have rights over your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. To exercise them, contact info@valenius.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
Aggregate analytics statistics are kept only for as long as they are useful for understanding and improving the website, and are then deleted or retained in anonymous, aggregate form.
